Internal rules of procedure and training
  1. General
    1.1 The Rules of Internal Procedure for Trainees of SIA GoDrive (hereinafter referred to as the “GoDrive Driving School”) (hereinafter referred to as the “Client”) (hereinafter referred to as the “Rules”) have been established in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No.358 “Regulations on Driver Training and Driver Training Programmes” (hereinafter referred to as Cabinet Regulation No.358).) and the requirements of the Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No.103 “Procedure for Acquisition and Renewal of Driving Licence, Issuance, Exchange, Renewal and Destruction of Driver’s
    Licence” (hereinafter – Cabinet Regulation No.103).
    1The purpose of the Regulations is to regulate and ensure the correct organisation of the Driving School’s work, the full and rational use of training time, the observance of discipline and the safety of Customers at the Driving School.
    1.3 The Rules shall determine:
    1.3.1. the conduct of trainees and other requirements to be observed by Customers in the Driving School and its premises;
    1.3.2. the rights and obligations of Customers;
    1.3.3. the procedure for the conduct of Training;
    1.3.4. payment procedures;
    1.3.5. procedures for using gift cards;
    1.3.6. procedures for publishing feedback;
    1.3.7. matters concerning the organisation of the Driving School;
    1.3.8. other matters.
    1.4 Compliance with the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No.358, No.103 and other acts regulating the activities of the Driving School is obligatory for all Customers.
  2. Office organisation
    2.1 The office hours of the Driving School are Monday to Friday: 10:00 – 18:00, Saturdays 9:00 – 13:00, Sundays are free. If the opening hours change for any reason, the Driving School will notify you in good time by posting information on the office door, on its website or on social networks (Facebook, Instagram).

    2.3. In cases when the Customer has not answered the representative of the Driving School or called back to the phone number provided by the office of the Driving School, the Driving School shall not be liable for the consequences of not informing the Customer about changes in the Training process or other important issues.
  3. Application and Contract Procedure
    3.1 The Customer indicates his/her willingness to study at the Driving School by sending an application for training at the Driving School’s website www.godrive.lv, by e-mail or by telephone, providing the Driving School with all requested information.
    3.2 By applying for training at the Driving School, the Customer confirms that he/she has read these Terms and Conditions and undertakes to comply with the requirements of these Terms and Conditions.
    3On the basis of the Customer’s application for the Training, the Driving School shall draw up and send to the e-mail address provided by the Customer a Training Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”), which shall reflect the essential terms of the Driving School Training, including the subject matter of the Agreement, the pricing of the Training Services and the payment procedure.
    3.4 The Agreement shall enter into force upon its mutual signature, including by means of a secure electronic signature.
    3.5 The Agreement may not be concluded in the following cases:
    3.5.1. if the Client has been subject to an administrative penalty – a ban on acquiring the right to drive vehicles for a certain period of time or the right to drive vehicles has been withdrawn;
    3.5.2. if the Client has been banned from exercising the right to drive;
    3.5.3. if the Client has not reached the age of 16;
    3.5.4. if the Client has medical contraindications for driving;
    3.5.5. if the Client has no right to reside in Latvia and has not been assigned a personal identification number.
    3.6 If the Contract is concluded as a distance Contract, the Customer has the right to unilaterally withdraw from the Contract within 14 days from the date of conclusion of the Contract if the service has not been used within these 14 days.
    3.7 To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must complete a written withdrawal form, available electronically on the Autoskolas website and submit electronically or send to the registered office of the Autoskolas. For the right of withdrawal to be valid, it is sufficient if the Customer sends his/her notice of exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the right of withdrawal.
    3.8 The amount paid for the unused service by exercising the right of withdrawal will be returned to the Customer in full no later than 14 (fourteen) days after the date on which the Rental School is informed of the Customer’s decision to withdraw from this Agreement in accordance with the provisions of clause 4.1 of this Agreement. The refund will be made by bank transfer to the Customer’s bank current account.
    3.9 The Driving School reserves the right to refuse the Customer to enter into the Contract for any other reason, subject to an explanation to the Customer.
    3.10 The Driving School is not obliged to monitor or remind the Customer of the fulfilment of its obligations under the Contract (e.g. timely payment, attendance at classes, etc.).
  4. Payment procedure
    4.1 The Customer undertakes to pay the payments set by the Driving School in the manner and to the extent specified in the Agreement, in accordance with the Price List of the Driving School’s services available on the Driving School’s website www.godrive.lv.
    4.2 At the time of conclusion of the Contract, the Customer shall pay the registration fee, which shall guarantee the Customer a place in the selected training group, provided that there are places available in that training group at the time of the Customer’s application.
    4.3 The Driving Test shall be conducted in accordance with the Driving Test Regulations and shall take place in the presence of the Driving School’s inspectors. After payment for the test has been made, the Driving School will send the payment information to the Inspector and the Customer will receive the Driving School test service. The test must be paid for no later than the working day before the test.
    4.4 Payment for First Aid Training must be made in accordance with the price list on the Driving School website www.godrive.lv.
    4.5 Payment for use of the driving training area must be made in accordance with the price list for the training area.
    4.6 After the conclusion of the Contract, the Driving School will not refund the payment made by the Customer for the Training, unless the Customer has a legitimate reason for not commencing the Driving School Training within the specified time.
    4.7 If the Customer wishes to recover the payment made for an unused service, the Customer must complete the refund application form at
    . The application will be processed within the time limits set out in the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania.
  5. Organisation of the training process
    5.1 Each Client is responsible for his/her own training process. The Driving School shall not be held liable for the Candidate’s late attendance, non-payment or late payment, as well as other irregularities in the training process which may affect the quality of the training.
    5.2 Theoretical training sessions shall be held in accordance with the schedule of the training group or type of training chosen by the Customer. The Client shall arrive at the Driving School or log on to the training platform (if the lesson is held in the e-environment) in time so that the Client is in the training room or platform when the lesson starts and does not interfere with the instructor starting the lesson.
    5.3. If the first lesson of the Training Module is missed more than 15 minutes from the start of the lesson, the Client’s attendance of the Training Module shall not be registered in the CSDD system. The missed module must be completed with another training group or individually, with payment in advance for the missed module (another training group – EUR 15.00, individually for category B – EUR 80.00).
    5.4 The timetable of lessons is announced at the first theory lesson. The timetable is subject to change. The Customer is obliged to attend all the lessons specified in the timetable.
    5.5 The training is provided on the basis of a written Agreement between the Customer and the Driving School. In case the Customer chooses to also take the Basic First Aid programme, the training is provided on the basis of a contract with the Training Provider with whom the Driving School cooperates.
    5.6. Theoretical training is provided by trainers who have obtained the appropriate qualification and hold a valid teaching certificate.
    5.7. Upon conclusion of an appropriate Contract, theoretical training of drivers can be partially completed in the e-environment via the distance learning platform https://www.edrive.lv/ (for category B 8 modules out of 11). If the E-environment is chosen, Customers must complete the relevant theoretical training modules at
    within 5 calendar months. Otherwise, access to the distance learning platform will be terminated.
    5.8. If the Customer misses several theoretical training sessions or payments, the Driving School is entitled to withdraw the Customer from the training group.
    5.9. The training is provided in Latvian, Russian or English.
    5.10. The Customer may withdraw from the booked repeated theoretical training module (by calling 22464636 or emailing info@godrive.lv) no later than one working day before the start of the session.
  6. Theory test
    6.1 Theory training must be completed within one year of the Customer’s registration in the training group, as recorded by the Driving School in the CSDD register, at the time of successful completion of 11 theory lessons and passing the Driving School theory test. If the Theoretical Training is not fully completed within this time limit (the end date of the Training is not recorded in the CSDD system), the Training must be repeated by registering in a new training group of the Driving School.
    6.2 The Driving School Theoretical Test must be passed within 15 days after the completion of the Theoretical Training or after reaching the age of 18 years. The Driving School Theoretical Examination is accepted on the basis of the requirements of the Cabinet Regulation No 358.
    6.3 The Customer must apply for the Driving School Theoretical Examination by telephoning tel. 22464636 or by e-mail info@godrive.lv.
    6.4 Before applying for the examination, the Customer must make sure that all financial obligations with the Driving School are settled and all theoretical training modules are fully attended.
    6.5 The theoretical examination must be passed at the CSDD within 15 days after the registration of the Driving School’s permission to take the examination
    at the CSDD. In case the Customer fails to pass the Theoretical Examination within 15 working days, the Autoschool shall cancel the permission to take the examination and the Customer shall retake the Autoschool Theoretical Examination.
    6.6 The Theoretical Examination is taken remotely via the ZOOM platform or in person at Riga, Ģertrūdes iela 33/35-11, LV-1011. The online exam requires a computer with a stable internet connection, a video camera and a microphone, as well as a monitor display mode.
    6.7. The driving school theoretical exam consists of 60 questions and the exam is credited if the Customer has made no more than 2 (two) incorrect answers.
  7. Driving training
    7.1.The following conditions apply for starting practical driving training for category B vehicles:
    7.1.1. the client has passed the medical examination prescribed for drivers and has obtained a driving training permit (white licence) from the CSDD;
    7.1.2. The client has acquired the basic knowledge of the Road Traffic Regulations (rules on priority, order and prohibition group road signs, traffic regulation, starting and changing direction of driving, arrangement of vehicles on the carriageway and driving at junctions) after 3 modules of theoretical training;
    7.Driving instruction shall be given by driving instructors who have obtained the appropriate
    qualification and hold a valid instructor’s certificate, in a training vehicle which has been suitably converted and registered as a training vehicle (B4 conversion) with the CSDD. The training shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Cabinet Regulation No 358.
    7.4. One practical driving lesson (1 academic hour) shall last 45
    minutes. The duration of a practical driving lesson is 1 or 2 academic hours.
    7.5. The duration of practical driving training for a Customer shall not exceed two academic hours per day.
    7.6. Initial driving training is organised in such a way as not to endanger other road users.
    The minimum number of practical lessons is determined by the Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No 358, but the decision on the completion of the Customer’s practical training is taken by the driving instructor.
    7.8 The driving instructor is chosen by the Customer from the list offered by the Driving School at www.godrive.lv. If the Client carries out the training with a person who has not obtained the instructor’s qualification or the person does not have a valid instructor’s certificate, or with an instructor who did not cooperate with the Driving School, the Driving School is not responsible for the Client’s training process and the contract 2.The price of the theoretical training and the discounts granted shall not apply, as well as the Customer
    shall pay the Training fee for category B – 150,00 EUR, which includes registration in the training group, execution of documents, theoretical training and passing the Autoschool theoretical exam.
    7.9 During the first practical driving lesson, the instructor shall inform the Customer about the procedure of the training and agree on the further course of the training process.
    7.10 Payment for the driving training shall be made by the Customer at the Driving School.
    7.12 The student may change instructor by giving up the lessons with the previous instructor in due time (not later than one working day before the lesson).
    7.7.13. The Client shall immediately inform the Driving School of any questionable or incorrect behaviour of the instructor.
    7.14. After each driving lesson, the instructor shall independently register the driving lesson in the CSDD system. In case of incorrect entries made by the instructor, the Customer must immediately inform the Driving School.
    7.15. The Customer may withdraw (by phone or e-mail) from the Driving Lesson no later than on the working day preceding the Driving Lesson. Otherwise, the payment made for the driving lesson will not be credited to the next driving lesson.
  8. Driving test
    8.1 When the Customer has fully completed the driving training and passed the theory test of the Driving School, the Customer shall take the driving test of the Driving School.
    8.2 The driving test shall be conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Internal Regulations of the Driving School and shall be conducted in accordance with the requirements of the CSDD driving tests.
    8.3 Driving tests shall be taken by inspectors appointed by the Driving School, who have the appropriate
    qualifications and a valid instructor’s certificate, in a training vehicle which complies with Cabinet
    Regulation No 358
    8.4 The driving test is conducted in accordance with the requirements set out in Cabinet Regulation No 358.
    8.5 The Customer may only apply for the driving test at the Driving School after the instructor has allowed the Customer to take the driving test and payment for the driving test has been made.
    8.6 The Customer may apply for the driving test by calling the Driving School at tel. 22464636.
    8.7. You must arrive 5 minutes before the start of the test. The duration of the driving test is 45 minutes, but in case of a gross error, the driving test will be stopped immediately and no credit will be given.
    8.8. In case the Customer has not withdrawn from the service in time, the Driving School is entitled to charge the full amount for the service.
    8.9. In this case, it is considered that the Customer did not attend the driving test and the payment made for the service will not be refunded.
    8.10. The Customer has the right to dispute the result of the driving test within one week from the date of the driving test by marking “Disagree” in the test report and sending a free form application to the School by e-mail.
    8.11. The School undertakes to evaluate the driving test within 14 working days and make a decision, informing the Customer thereof.
  9. Customer’s rights and obligations
    9.1 The customer has the right to freely choose the language of instruction and the training group in which the theoretical training will be carried out.
    9.2 The customer has the right to freely choose the driving instructor with whom the driving training will be carried out from the list offered by the Driving School.
    99.3 Time limits within which the Customer may withdraw (by phone 22464636 or e-mail info@godrive.lv) from the services applied for:
    9.3.1. from the First Aid Training Course – not later than the working day before the start of the Training Process;
    9.3.2. from the booked Repeated Theory Lesson – no later than the working day
    before the lesson;
    9.3.3. from the Theory Training – no later than 2 (two) working days before the start of the Training Process;
    9.3.4. from the Driving Lesson or Test – no later than the working day before the lesson or test.
    99.4 In the event that the Customer does not waive the above services in accordance with the requirements set out in Clause 9.3 of the Internal Regulations
    , the Driving School shall be entitled to charge the Customer for these services in full.
    9.5 The Customer undertakes to complete the Training within 1 (one) year, for which the Driving School shall make a note in the CSDD Register. If the theoretical Training is not completed in full within this time limit, it must be repeated by registering in a new training group of the Driving School. Theoretical Training shall be deemed completed when the Customer has passed the Theoretical Examination of the Driving School.
    The Driving School theory test must be passed no later than 15 days after the completion of the theory training or the Client’s 18th birthday.
    9.6 All obligations with the Driving School (except for the payment of the Driving School driving test) must be settled before passing the Driving School theory test.
    99.7 If the Customer wishes to terminate the contract with the Driving School early, the Customer must submit an application to the Driving School stating the reason for termination before taking the theoretical driving test

    9.8 If the Customer has any complaints about the quality of the services provided by the Driving School, the quality of the work or improper conduct of the instructors or trainers, the Customer must immediately inform the Driving School in writing of such complaints. The Driving School will reply in writing in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Latvia.
  10. Responsibilities of the Parties
    10.1 By signing the Contract with the Driving School or applying for remote lessons, the Customer confirms that he/she has read and agrees to comply with the Internal Regulations and Training Rules.
    10.2 The Driving School is entitled to terminate the Contract early and refuse the Customer’s training if the Customer fails to comply with the Internal Regulations and Training Rules of the Driving School.
    1010.3 The Driving School shall have the right to unilaterally amend the Contract by notifying the Client in writing within 10 days.
    10.4 The Driving School shall have the right to terminate the Contract with the Client without prior notice if the Client has provided false information at the time of entering into the Contract.
  11. First Aid Training
    11.1 A customer wishing to obtain a driving qualification in categories A, A2, B, BE, C1, C1E, D1, D1E, C, CE, D or DE is required to undertake First Aid Training. Persons who have already completed First
    Aid training and its validity has not expired (5 years) or who have a secondary or higher medical education or who are studying in relevant educational establishments are exempt from this training. In this case, the Customer must obtain the CSDD’s confirmation of the First Aid training by submitting a copy of the diploma confirming the education received or a certificate from the relevant educational institution to the CSDD.
    11.2. The Car School offers the possibility of First Aid training with a training provider with whom it cooperates.
    11.3. The Customer may freely choose the First Aid training provider.
    1111.4 The School is not obliged to provide First Aid training to its Customers, but will endeavour to do so to the best of its ability.
    11.5 First Aid training shall be deemed to be completed and a certificate issued only after payment of all relevant fees, completion of the theoretical and practical parts of the training and successful completion of the theoretical examination.
    11.6 The Customer may withdraw (by telephone or e-mail) from the First Aid Training Course no later than the working day before the start of the training process.
  12. Rules of conduct
    12.1 Alcoholic beverages, smoking and drugs are strictly prohibited in the premises of the driving school and in the stairwells.
    12.2 The client must respect the rights of the other members of the group and must not disturb the course of the training.
    12.3 Discipline and silence must be observed during the lessons. The use of smart devices and other electronic devices is prohibited during the lessons, as the use of devices interferes with the Training process.
    12.4 The Client must treat the instructors, staff, his/her group members and other listeners with respect.
    12.5 The Client must follow the instructor’s instructions and tasks during the lessons.
    12.6 The Client must treat the Driving School equipment, teaching aids and room facilities with respect. In case of damage to the equipment, teaching aids and premises, the Client shall notify the instructor, the administration or the management of the Driving School and shall compensate the Driving School for the damage caused.
  13. Reviews
    13.1 Reviews are published on the website of the Driving School within 5 working days, provided that
    the information is true.
    13.2 When leaving a review on the website of the Driving School, the Customer must provide correct contact information,
    so that the Driving School can contact the author of the review if necessary.
    1313.3 The Driving School may contact any Customer who has left a review for more information in order to control and improve the quality of the service.
    13.4 Reviews that:
    13.4.1. use negative language;
    13.4.2. show aggression;
    13.4.3. touch on political, sexual or religious topics;
    13.4.4. use questionable or false information will not be published.
  14. Use of the Gift Card
    14.1 The Gift Card is valid for one year;
    14.2 The Gift Card can only be used at the time of conclusion of the contract, provided that the Gift Card
    was immediately presented or sent to the e-mail address of the Driving School.
    1414.3 The gift card cannot be exchanged for money and is not renewed if lost.
    14.4 The gift card can be used once.
    14.5 The gift cards are not cumulative with each other and with discounts.
    14.6 The gift card can be used by a person who meets the requirements of the Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No 358.
    14.7 If the price of the service exceeds the value of the gift card, the difference in price can be paid by bank transfer to the bank details of the Driving School.
    14.8 If the price of the service is lower than the value of the gift card, the difference in price will not be refunded.
    14.9 Gift cards which were not purchased on the Autoskol website but were received on
    from Autoskol partners can only be used by concluding a full Training Contract on
    (theoretical training and practical driving lessons with an instructor from the list offered by the Autoskol website – www.godrive.lv).
  15. Data Processing and Storage Policy
    15.1 The Driving School shall be entitled to process the Customer’s data (collection, storage, registration, etc.). The purpose of the data processing is to keep records of Customers for the provision of services. The Customer consents to the transfer and processing of his/her data for the aforementioned purposes.
    15.2 Personal data is not transferred to third parties, except with the consent of the Customer.
  16. Other Rules
    16.1 The Rules, amendments and supplements thereto shall be approved by the Chairman of the Board of the Driving School.
    16.2 The Rules are available at www.godrive.lv.
    16.3 The Rules shall enter into force on the date of their approval.
